IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR DSL CUSTOMERS FROM OUR UPSTREAM PROVIDER

Dear Wholesale Partner,

As previously noted, Bell may be implementing Usage Based Billing (UBB) coming possibly as early as November. The results of this will limit customer allotted bandwidth amounts to a certain level depending on speed. The changes right now will only affect Residential customers. We are working on a bandwidth monitoring tool that customers will be able to use. Most of our customers are safe, some are just barely over the limits, and a few people are pretty excessive users.
While we are still challenging UBB and the rates, we should prepare for it becoming a reality, and let the end users know.

Attached are the proposed Tariff rates. Our rates to you will be similar with a small markup to cover management. If UBB does stay, hopefully we can get the rates reduced to allow us to be more competitive. We will also see a new 1MB Business and a 2MB Residential speed option coming soon as well. The rates for that will be updated once the final rates are approved by the CRTC.
